I’ve loved animals all my life. I’ve had horses, dogs, cats, chicken, ducks and geese. I’ve never forgotten the geese as they were very rude!

I lived in Australia as a child which is where I found my love of horses which has never changed. I was lucky enough to be able to breed some amazing Arabians who were shown at National and International level. It was such an exciting and happy time in my life, and I met some wonderful people along the way. I only have the one horse now HS Rafaella who was bred by Shirley and Charlie Watts from the Rolling Stones and I currently have an adopted ex racing greyhound called Mac who is settling nicely into his forever sofa.

I started Anne’s Pet Care Service in 2019 based in Farnham in Surrey but relocated to Belper in beautiful Derbyshire a couple of years ago. It’s an amazing place to live. I worked for the NHS for the latter part of my career and on retirement I decided it was time to do something for me, something that I really wanted to do so here I am ready and happy to look after your beautiful fur babies for you.

My very good friend Madeleine has joined me as my back up just in case as you never know. Madeleine has also bred and shown her beautiful Arabians and has a wealth of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes so between us we have everything covered.
